Meramec Instrument Transformer Co. Named a “Hero of American Manufacturing”

Cuba, Missouri – June 5, 2017 Meramec Instrument Transformer Co. is proud to announce that they have been named a “Hero of American Manufacturing” by The U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Institute of Standard and Technology – Manufacturing Extension Partnership (NIST MEP). Meramec was nominated by the organization that manages the NIST MEP program, Missouri Enterprise, for their commitment to new product development and continuous improvement.

This series recognizes small to medium-sized manufacturers that are innovative, drive economic growth, and create job opportunities here at home in America. With the help of Missouri Enterprise, Meramec experienced a sales growth of 300% and a workforce that doubled in size.

“The Heroes of American Manufacturing video series attempts to capture the hearts and minds of the public and celebrate the small and medium sized manufacturers succeeding in the US with the help of their local MEP centers,” NIST (May 09, 2017).
