February 6, 2015 – Cuba, Missouri – Meramec Electrical Products Co., the preeminent manufacturer of Instrument Current Transformers to the electric power industry, has officially changed its name to Meramec Instrument Transformer Co.

With the new name change, Meramec also changed its brand identity logo and website address to www.MeramecUSA.com. This change in name and brand reflects the primary business and expectations the company envisions for future products and technology. This initiative allows Meramec to expand beyond its primary business of providing products for the high voltage sector for the electric generation, transmission, and distribution industry. As a result, the company plans to begin offering a whole new line of instrument transformers aimed at the medium voltage market.
