TO ENTER:

No Purchase Necessary. Contest promotion dates: April 17 through May 9, 2012. Enter the sweepstakes by visiting Booth #1362 at the 2012 IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution Conference and Exposition May 8 – 10 in Orlando, Florida and submitting a standard business card. Entries will also be accepted online. Enter online by completing and submitting the entry form found on our website at www. meramec-electrical.com. All online entries must be received by 12:01 AM Central Time (CT), April 30, 2012. The deadline for accepting entries submitted at the IEEE PES Conference is 3:00 PM, Standard Time (ST), May 9, 2012

The promotion officially begins at 12:01 AM, April 17, Central Time (CT) and officially ends May 9, 2012, at 3:00 PM (ST)

GRAND PRIZE AWARD:

One prize of one (1) complete set of TaylorMade RocketBallz golf clubs. The prize includes one (1) Driver, two (2) Fairway Woods, one (1) Full Set of Irons, one (1) Sand Wedge, one (1) Putter and one (1) Golf Bag. The winner will receive a Taylor Made Gift Certificate that can be used to redeem the prize at a participating TaylorMaderetailer/dealer.

Any income tax liability is the responsibility of the winner. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Meramec Electrical Products as final in all matters relating to the sweepstakes.

The odds of winning depend upon total number of valid entries received. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability.

ELIGIBILITY:

Sweepstakes open to persons who are 21 years of age or older and are employed in the power transmission, distribution, generation industry, including OEM’s, aftermarket, and engineering/design firms. Employees, officers and representatives (and members of their immediate families and those living in the same household of each) of Meramec Electrical Products, its affiliated companies, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and any company involved in the design, execution or production of the promotion are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules. Promotion void where prohibited.

RECEIPT OF ENTRIES:

Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, stolen, incomplete, illegible, postage due or misdirected mail. All entries are the property of the Sponsor. Any attempt by an entrant to interfere with the operations of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law.

DRAWING:

Winner of the Grand Prize will be selected in a random drawing held on or about May 9, 2012 from all eligible entries received by Meramec Electrical Products, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters to this sweepstakes.

Winners will be notified by telephone or email on or about May 9, 2012. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer prize. Prize has a limited cash value of $1500.00. This is the amount the winner is liable for federal tax. The winner can elect to receive the prize. No other exceptions will be available. If winner elects not to receive the prize, they will forfeit the prize and no prize(s) will be awarded to this person. During the drawing process, a total of ten names will be drawn and numbered in their respective order. The next entry in line will receive the opportunity to qualify, accept and receive the award.

CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION:

General Conditions: Participants agree (a) Meramec Electrical Products, its respective distributors, parents, subsidiaries, manufacturers, licensees, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, to persons, including death or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or components of the prize, or participation in this sweepstakes or in any sweepstakes related activity, and (b) winners, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Meramec Electrical Products (and agrees to confirm such agreement in writing upon request) and those acting pursuant to its authority to use his/her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation in all media now known or hereafter discovered worldwide and on the Internet without notice or review or approval. Winners will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Prize Agreement which will include a Liability Release and Hold Harmless and where lawful, a Publicity Release within ten days of notification. If documents are not returned on a timely basis or if any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.

Unless prohibited by law, winner’s entry and acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for sponsor to use winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, voice, biographical information and address (city and state only) in all media worldwide without further compensation.

DISCLAIMER:

In the event that fraud and/or other causes beyond the control of Meramec Electrical Products corrupt the administration, security or proper handling of the drawing, or if the contest is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Meramec Electrical Products reserves the right to discontinue or modify the contest, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event, Meramec Electrical Products shall have no liability to any participant who is disqualified due to such action. The participant, if selected in the drawing, agrees that prior to and as a condition to participant’s eligibility to win.
